Aptitude battery: GAN
This JATC uses the GAN Aptitude Test Battery, a different test: reading, numerical computation, numerical reasoning, paper folding, problem solving and mechanical comprehension. It is not the two-section electrical training ALLIANCE test, and preparing only for algebra and reading will leave you short.
- Application window
- Submit a $50 application fee. Your GAN Aptitude Test is scheduled no later than 90 days after you become eligible.
- Testing frequency
- Held at The Electrical Trades Center. Test scores are returned to applicants within 60 days.
- Score threshold
- No cut score. Application scores from 0–100 are factored from the GAN Aptitude Test and the Personal Experience Form. Acceptance runs from #1 (the highest score) down the eligibility list.
- Retake wait
- Not published by this JATC — confirm the current rule with the training center.
