Who writes and reviews the guides
Every guide on this site is written by someone who has worked in the electrical trade and is reviewed against the current published test format before it goes live. We do not republish scraped content, and we do not invent statistics. Every per-local fact on this site carries the JATC's own URL and the date we last checked it.
How the practice material is built
The practice bank holds 308 algebra and reading questions written to match the electrical training ALLIANCE battery's two-section structure and 97 minutes of total testing time. Our guides also cover the separate GAN battery that some locals use instead, which has different sections and different scoring. Questions are reviewed for format accuracy — same question types, same no-calculator constraint, same pacing pressure — not copied from any live exam.
How guides are maintained
Each guide shows a "Last updated" date that reflects a real content change. We revisit the guides when the test format, application process, or scoring guidance changes — not on a timer to look fresh.
