Who writes and reviews the guides
Every guide on this site is written by someone who has worked in the electrical trade and is reviewed against the current published test format before it goes live. We do not republish scraped content, and we do not invent statistics. When a fact comes from an IBEW local or the electrical training ALLIANCE, we link to it.
How the practice material is built
The practice bank holds 280+ algebra and reading questions written to match the real exam's two-section structure and 97 minutes of total testing time. Questions are reviewed for format accuracy — same question types, same no-calculator constraint, same pacing pressure — not copied from any live exam.
How guides are maintained
Each guide shows a "Last updated" date that reflects a real content change. We revisit the guides when the test format, application process, or scoring guidance changes — not on a timer to look fresh.
