Application window

Applications are available online and may be submitted at any time. There are no tuition or registration fees for the program; apprentices buy their own books and hand tools. Documents must be submitted in PDF format, and foreign transcripts translated into English by a certified translator.

Testing frequency

Qualified applicants are scheduled to take the aptitude test at ETI. It measures algebra skills and reading comprehension and typically requires about three hours. Results are provided by email. Interview scores determine placement in the Pool of Eligible Applicants, where applicants remain eligible for up to two years.

Score threshold

obtain a qualifying score of 4 using the electrical Industry's aptitude test developed and validated by the American Institutes for Research. This paragraph does not apply to the Residential Program.

Retake wait

Need to Re-Apply. Wait a minimum of 90 Days Before Taking Exam Again.
