Application window

There is a $40 non-refundable fee due before starting the application, and once started all applicants have 30 days to complete it online. Applicants with over 2,000 documented hours of electrical construction experience, and applicants with at least three years of active-duty military service discharged under honorable conditions, are exempted from the school and math requirements.

Testing frequency

A General Aptitude Test is scheduled for all applicants, and applicants must attend their scheduled test to qualify for consideration. All tests are held on Saturdays. Hearing back usually takes up to 4 weeks, depending on the number of applicants.

Score threshold

There is no minimum score required, however, your test score will be considered as part of the selection process and a higher test score will reflect favorably during the selection process.
