Aptitude battery: GAN

This JATC uses the GAN Aptitude Test Battery, a different test: reading, numerical computation, numerical reasoning, paper folding, problem solving and mechanical comprehension. It is not the two-section electrical training ALLIANCE test, and preparing only for algebra and reading will leave you short.

Application window: Applications can only be started when the portal is open. Fees: Inside Program $50.00; Sound, Communication and Data Management $50.00; Residential $30.00. No more than 30 days after the portal closes you will receive a link from GAN Human Resources to complete the final portion.
Testing frequency: If you meet the qualifications for application you will be notified to report for testing within 3 months. Applicants receive notification of test date and time via text, email, and a letter mailed to the address given at application.
Score threshold: Not published by this JATC — confirm the current rule with the training center.
Retake wait: Once you have completed the aptitude test, the PEF and the letter of recommendation successfully, you will be placed on the selection list for a period of one (1) year. After one year if you are not selected, your application will be removed from the selection list, and you will need to reapply.
