Application window

Non-refundable application processing fee of $23 for each application and each program, plus a $23 aptitude test fee for Inside Wireman or Telecommunications applicants — $46 total to apply. Your application is incomplete if you do not submit all required documents by the deadline. Veterans and current service members may use the application processing fee waiver by providing a DD-214 Long Form at the time of application.

Testing frequency

Testing is in person at the Atlanta Electrical Training Center, 6601 Bay Circle, Peachtree Corners, GA. Allow 3 hours to complete your test. Bring a pen and your driver's license or other photo ID. No calculators, no cellphones. Full length pants only, no shorts. Doors close and lock at the scheduled test time — if you do not arrive on time you must reschedule, and you can only reschedule once. Applicants are scheduled in the order they applied; unscheduled walk-ins will not be tested.

Score threshold

A score of 5 out of 9 is required to be admitted to the apprenticeship programs.
