This JATC uses the electrical training ALLIANCE aptitude test battery: 33 algebra and functions questions in 46 minutes, then 36 reading comprehension questions in 51 minutes, 97 minutes of testing in total.

Application window
There are currently no fees associated with the application process. Interviews are conducted twice per year, in January and in June.
Testing frequency
Given at the Training Center, 134 Cecil A. Malone Drive, Ithaca, NY. The test takes about two hours.
Score threshold
A qualifying score of 4 or higher is required to be considered for an oral interview. Qualifying test scores are valid for two years from the date the test is taken.
Retake wait
