Closed. As of May 1, 2026 PSEJATC has stopped accepting new applications and there is no set reopening date; it will give at least 30 days' public notice before reopening. When open: online, a $75.00 non-refundable fee to start, then 60 days to complete the application and submit documents.

Aptitude battery: eTA

This JATC uses the electrical training ALLIANCE aptitude test battery: 33 algebra and functions questions in 46 minutes, then 36 reading comprehension questions in 51 minutes, 97 minutes of testing in total.

Testing frequency
We test and interview several times a month in order to try to keep up with the number of applicants we receive. From application to placement on the ranking list may take four to five months, and you can stay on the ranked list for up to two years. Out-of-state applicants may be required to travel to Washington to test.
Score threshold
Once you pass this test, then you will be scheduled for the next available interview day. No numeric cut score is published by this JATC.
Retake wait
