Application window

Applications for the Inside Wireman and Telecommunications apprenticeship programs are accepted year-round. The application processing fee is $75.00. Required documents must be submitted within 30 days of application.

Testing frequency

Aptitude tests are scheduled as needed and you are notified by email and text message, with a week's notice before the test date. You must RSVP once you receive the invitation. The test is administered at the Utah Electrical Training Alliance Training Center.

Score threshold

You must achieve a 'Pass' on the Electrical Industry Aptitude Test, developed and validated by the American Institutes for Research, to be eligible for an interview.

Retake wait

Not published by this JATC — confirm the current rule with the training center. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements are not scheduled for the aptitude test or an oral interview; their application is closed and they must reapply once they meet the minimum qualifications.
