Local 349 — Miami, FL at a glance

Application window

Applications are accepted year-round, and the full process may take approximately 6 months to 1 year. To be considered for the Fall class, applications must be fully completed by April 30 of each year. All required documentation must be submitted within 30 days of the original application date. A second campus operates in Fort Myers.

Testing frequency

The test is administered at our training location and takes approximately two and a half hours to complete. Test results are typically available within two business days. Qualified candidates are ranked on their test scores and remain on the list of eligible applicants for two years from the date of their interview.

Score threshold

Applicants who receive a score of 4 or higher (out of a possible 9) will advance to the next step of the application process: an interview with the JATC Committee.

Retake wait
