How to Pass the IBEW Aptitude Test
A 2-week plan that works if you actually do it.
Week 1 — Diagnose & drill
- Day 1: Take a free test. Write down your score per section.
- Days 2–4: Drill your weak section. 30 questions a day.
- Day 5: Drill the other section. 30 questions.
- Days 6–7: Mixed practice. 50 questions a day.
Week 2 — Simulate
- Day 8: First full 96-minute simulator. No phone, no breaks except the official one.
- Days 9–11: Review every wrong answer. Read the explanation. Redo similar problems.
- Day 12: Second full simulator. Aim higher.
- Days 13–14: Light review. Sleep. Eat. Show up.
Test day
- Eat something with protein. Don't show up hungry.
- Get there 20 minutes early.
- If a question is taking forever, mark a guess and move on.
- Use the break to reset, not panic.
